Calculating Rendemen Value
if we want to talk about rendemen, what is rendemen? how we calculate rendemen? how we determine the velue of rendemen?. for answer this questions, read carefully my blog and get easy.
Rendement is the ratio of the amount (quantity) of an produced from the extraction of something, for example the amout of oil produced from the extraction of aromatic plants. Rendemen use percent unit (%). The higher rendement value indicates that the value of the oil produced is too much.
Increasing rendement or the ratio of the amount of oil produced can be done with two approaches,

First, the process of cultivation.
Second, the process of making oil
The quality of the oil produced is usually inversely proportional to the number of rendaments produced. The higher of rendamen so lower the quality obtained. The formula for calculating the following rendamen:

In chemistry, the
chemical rendemen, the rendemen of the reaction, or only the rendement refers
to the amount of reaction product produced in the chemical reaction. [1] Absolute rendement can be written as weight in grams or in moles (molar yield). The
relative rendemen used as a calculation of the effectiveness of the
procedure is calculated by dividing the amount of product obtained in
moles by the theoretical rendemen in moles:
To obtain a rendemet percentage , multiply the fractional of rendement by 100%.
One or more reactants in chemical reactions are often used is too much. The theoretical rendement is calculated based on the number of moles of the limiting reagent. For this calculation, it is usually assumed that there is only one reaction involved.
The ideal chemical rendemet value (theoretical rendement) is 100%, a value highly unlikely to be achieved in its practice. Calculate the percentage of rendement that is by using the following equations percent rendemen = weight yield / weight of yield divided by the sample weight multiplied by 100%

for SAMPLE CASE
• IF WE KNOWN SAMPLE OF SALT AND SAND HAVE MIXED, TO SEPARATE SALT IS WITH ISOLATION OF SALT FROM THE SOLUTION.
• 20 MIXED GRAMES BALANCED, REQUIRED IN AQUADEST 100 ML. AFTER SEVERAL AFTER SALT DISOLVED, THEN STRAINED THE SOLUTION TO SEPARATE SAND AND SALT..
• SALINE SOLUTION HEATED UNTIL ALL OF THE WATER EVAPORATED AND LEFT BEHIND SALT POWDER
• WE CAN KNOW THE SALT RENDEMEN IN SANDS AS FOLLOWS:

• RENDEMEN = -------------------------------- X 100%
MIXED WEIGHT
8.0 GRAM
• RENDEMEN = ------------------------ X 100%
20.0
GRAM RENDEMEN = 40%
for example :
1. If the reaction
between 6.0 grams of ethane, C2H6 (Mr = 30) with 7.1 grams of Cl2 (Mr =
71) produce 5.16 grams of C2H5Cl (Mr. 64.5), then the percentage of ethyl
chloride rendement is ...
Discussion:
C2H6 + Cl2 → C2H5Cl + HCl
C2H6 = 6/30 = 0.2 mol
Cl2 = 7.1 / 71 = 0.1mol (discharged)
C2H5Cl (theoretical) = 1/1 x 0.1 mol = 0.1 mol
= 0.1 x 64.5 g = 6.45 g
% Rendemen = 5.16 / 6.45 x 100% = 80%.
C2H6 + Cl2 → C2H5Cl + HCl
C2H6 = 6/30 = 0.2 mol
Cl2 = 7.1 / 71 = 0.1mol (discharged)
C2H5Cl (theoretical) = 1/1 x 0.1 mol = 0.1 mol
= 0.1 x 64.5 g = 6.45 g
% Rendemen = 5.16 / 6.45 x 100% = 80%.
Why rendement value can not reach 100%?
BalasHapusits mean is some persent the rendemen obtained from the sample and the rest is the impurities.
HapusWhat is the difference between real yield and theoretical rendement?
BalasHapusREAL yield is the number of products actually gained in an experiment
HapusIn chemistry, the chemical yield, the yield of the reaction, or only the rendement refers to the amount of reaction product produced in the chemical reaction.
The theoretical rendement is calculated based on the number of moles of the limiting reagent. For this calculation, it is usually assumed there is only one reaction involved
One or more reactants in a chemical reaction are often used too much. Like what is an example?
BalasHapusIn a closed container, 20 grams of methane (CH4) burned with 64 grams of oxygen (O2) produces carbon dioxide and water vapor according to the reaction below. Given Mr. methane = 16, Ar oxygen = 16, and Mr. H2O = 18
Hapusyou can use a limiting reaction
Why we learn rendemen? How to find percentage of rendemen ?, please explain and give me an example.

Would you please explain how exactly the rendemen is in daily life-day according to your thinking ???
BalasHapusto know the quality of the product
HapusWhy should we use the way of rendemen is there any other way to look for its results?
BalasHapusdepend on what the result you mean
Hapustell me about mol fraction
BalasHapusMole fraction is another way of expressing the concentration of a solution or mixture. It is equal to the moles of one component divided by the total moles in the solution or mixture
HapusWhat is the example of application of rendemen in everyday life? What is the advantage of applying it?
BalasHapusIncreasing the yield or the ratio of the amount of oil produced can be done with two approaches,
HapusFirst, the cultivation process.
Second, the process of making oil
The quality of the oil produced is usually inversely proportional to the number of rendaments produced. The higher the resulting rendamen the lower the quality obtained.
Have you ever experimented on rendemen, if ever mention the title of the lab and the conclusion?
BalasHapussorry I have'nt try experiment on rendemen, just theory.
HapusGive an example other than what you mentioned?
BalasHapusWhether when the reaction has occurred there is always a residual, whether or not the moment of what happened?
